Man found dead in Aberdeen city centre hotel room

Emergency services were called to the Jury’s Inn at Union Square at around 10am on Tuesday, with the police saying the death was ‘sudden’ but not thought to be suspicious.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal, but would not reveal any further details, including the cause of death.

Hide AdThe spokesperson added: “Police Scotland can confirm that officers attended a hotel in [Aberdeen] city centre following the report of a sudden death.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
The man was staying in the hotel at the time.
A statement from Jury’s Inn read: “We are saddened to hear of the death of one of our guests at Jurys Inn Aberdeen. Our thoughts are with their family and friends.”
