Chilcot delay
Regarding the delays in publishing the Chilcot Report into the Iraq war (six years after the inquiry was set up and still waiting), I feel I must ask whether or not a report of a public inquiry could ever give rise to a legal action by a person who felt wronged by its content? If so, against whom would an action lie? If this is possible, a pre-emptive threat to sue could affect the contents of the report and might well explain the delay.
