10-year-old boy dies after swimming in Scottish loch
A 10-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulty at a loch in Stirling.
He was swimming in Loch Lubnaig, near Callander, at around 5:35pm on Wednesday afternoon, when he began to struggle.

Hide AdEmergency services were called to the scene, but were unable to rescue the boy.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: ““We were called to reports of a child experiencing difficulty in the water at around 5.35pm on Wednesday.
“Sadly, the 10-year-old boy died.
“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
