Scottish schoolgirl hit by car in Bahrain dies from injuries
Olivia Dewar, 17, suffered serious head injuries when she and a classmate were hit by a car in the village of Saar in the oil state on December 14.
Olivia, whose father Gordon Dewar is the former managing director of Edinburgh Airport, was injured just hours before she was due to fly home to Scotland for Christmas to visit her mother.

Friends from both Scotland and Bahrain have paid tribute to the schoolgirl.
One said she would be "truly missed", while another described her as a "lovely, wonderful and great person".
The teenager had only moved to the country months before with her sister, father and stepmother, as her father had taken over as chief executive of Bahrain Airport.
