Woman makes cricket history playing for men’s XI
Yorkshire-born Charlotte played for Royal High Corstorphine’s (RHC) first XI against Grange, where she turned out as wicket-keeper in a first round CS Cup tie.
She took three catches and 10 runs, and was facing the likes of Gordon Goudie, one of Cricket Scotland’s leading bowlers.

Hide AdThe former St George’s School pupil, who regularly features for the Scottish Wildcats, has played in men’s domestic leagues - currently for the RHC second XI - since she and her family moved to Scotland.
Charlotte turned out for both Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire at Under 13 and Under 15 levels respectively, and got involved with the international set-up north of the border.
The 27-year-old has also previously been selected for the European XI.
