Oor Wullie heads east
The Scottish publisher of The Broons and Oor Wullie has revealed that the cartoons are now being printed in the People's Republic of China.
The annual adventures of Oor Wullie and The Broons family of 10 Glebe Street, which have entertained generations of Scots, have previously been published at DC Thomson printing plants in Dundee and Glasgow.
But now, cost-cutting measures at the publishing giants have seen their range of popular annuals being printed abroad.
