Letter: Not my cup of T
I have never been to T in the Park and I am too old to even consider attending, so I was unsure whether I would enjoy this film, but from the first scene I was hooked. The hand-cuffing together was, if not original, quite plausible and the combination of pulsing music, eccentric characters and contrasting quiet of the night and early morning gave a great backdrop to the film. There is a lot of humour, too. I thought the main characters were all good - I cannot begin to imagine how hard it must be to play a role in the midst of 85,000 people.
At the premiere, it was clear that the audience loved it. David Mackenzie, his cast and crew are to be congratulated and I am delighted to hear that it will soon be on release throughout the UK. Alistair Harkness gave the film Mamma Mia one star, and it went on to become the biggest grossing film in UK history. Go and see for this film for yourself.
