Power workers in safety walkout
WORKERS have walked off a construction site after an alleged health and safety breach.
Up to 500 employees at Staythorpe power station near Newark, Nottinghamshire, staged a demonstration and blocked roads after the walkout.
Andy Fletcher, of the GMB union, said: "This is a very serious matter for the industry."
