Protesting herder ‘killed by oil tanker’
A HERDER in China’s Inner Mongolia who was protesting destruction of traditional grazing land has died after being hit by an oil tanker, an overseas rights group said yesterday.
A similar incident in May, when a herder died after being struck by a coal lorry, set off protests by Mongolians.
