Stirling University 1-3 Tynecastle: Tynecastle gain revenge

TYNECASTLE reversed last week's defeat against Stirling University with a second-half comeback.

The students were reduced to ten men for the third successive game when stopper Sam Filler was dismissed in the second half.

Rob Pearson latched hold of the loose ball in midfield and slipped Emmot Parr-Gallagher through on goal. The striker rounded the keeper to give the home side the lead.

Tyncastle equalised in the 66th minute. Failure to clear from a corner led to a scramble in the six-yard box which was converted by Darren Aird.

Shortly after, a desperate lunge from a trialist brought down Wayne Mcintosh in the area. Filler was given a second yellow for descent and McIntosh gave Tynecastle the lead from the spot.

As ten-man Stirling threw caution to the wind, David Bingham clinically finished with a header back across goal.
